Q:Hi there....we're going to be on the north shore next week. Where exactly can we find the polo beach and where do we park? Thanks.

Aloha and thank you for your question! The attached image below is from Google Earth. The coordinates for the street side of the public access path are 21°34’41.45” N 158°09’56.09” W. If you’re familiar with Oahu, take Farrington Highway west from Waialua towards Dillingham Airfield. Once you pass the traffic circle and drive under an old bridge, it will be a couple miles on your right. Look for a white fence with horizontal slats and you should see cars parked there already. The beginning of the public access path is clearly marked with a blue sign that among other things says “NO NUDITY.”
There is always free public parking available off the highway in the grass on either side of the highway.
At the other end of the public access when you get to the beach, turn right, and walk down about 50 yards or so and you should see other naturists there.
The manager of the horse stable adjacent to the beach is unhappy about alleged sexual acts that she has observed at this beach, but the police haven’t been citing or arresting people simply for nude sunbathing or swimming.

Daughter of the Caribbean Sun
As a painter and sculptor, I have spent a lifetime working from the nude figure and in particular, the Afro-Caribbean nude. My Grenadian born wife Denise has modelled for the series of paintings and sculptures titled “Daughter of the Caribbean Sun”. The series follows Denise through the pregnancies of our two daughters (now nineteen and twenty) and continues to the present day.
